Report a Repair
What do you need help with?
This refers to any emergency work which affects the health and safety of the tenant or public in general and needs to be completed urgently.
For example: disasters, electrical faults resulting in injury, shocks or fires, vehicle damage caused to buildings where a dangerous situation exists, security where main door locks are inoperable or where SA Housing Trust receives a request from any of the emergency services.

This depends on the nature of your repair. The repair start date will be dependent on your availability to provide access to your property. Generally, you can expect:
- Priority 1: Work shall commence within 4 hours of reporting the repair
- Priority 2: Work shall commence within 24 business hours of reporting the repair
- Priority 3: Work shall commence within 10 working days of reporting the repair
Please note:
- if you live in the APY lands please call the Umuwa Housing Office about expected repair timeframes or look out for the contractor in your community
- urgent priority 1 repairs cannot be logged online, they must be reported by calling
You can call SA Housing Trust Maintenance or if you live in the APY lands call the Umuwa Housing Office to follow up your repair request.
The Maintenance Centre operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be contacted by calling 131 288. General maintenance services are conducted between 8am and 6pm on a normal working day. Outside of these hours, an emergency service is available when required.
If you live in the APY lands, call the Umuwa Housing Office on 8954 8188 between 8am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Go to the ‘My Repairs’ page and make sure your address is selected to view a summary of repairs you have logged. If you would like more details on these repairs, select the ‘View Repair Request’ button. Contact SA Housing Trust if you need to discuss any repairs reported more than two years ago.
Once your repair is approved and the contractor has your request, the contractor should call you to arrange a time to attend but this also depends on the nature of your request:
- Priority 1: Work shall commence within 4 hours of reporting the repair
- Priority 2: Work shall commence within 24 business hours of reporting the repair
- Priority 3: Work shall commence within 10 working days of reporting the repair

Once your repair has been raised it will display as 'In Progress'. When it has been completed it will display as 'Complete'. If it is cancelled it will display as 'Cancelled'.
You can locate the date you reported your repair in 'My Repairs', and you can find the date the repair was completed in 'View Job Details'.
